Historic Preservation Architect Visits Middle School Students

Last Friday, Jody Lahendro, Historic Preservation Projects Manager at the University of Virginia, visited Middle School students to discuss historic preservation architecture. As an historical preservation architect, Mr. Lahendro has spent the majority of his career on renovation and restoration projects. During his talk, he shared with students the likely path one takes to become an historical preservation architect, as well as the specialized studies one typically undertakes including building construction history and dendrochronology.
