STAB Students Participate in Hour of Code

This week, St. Anne’s-Belfield School students are participating in the national Hour of Code. The initiative is an opportunity for every student to try computer science for one hour during Computer Science Education Week (December 9-15). Sponsored by, the Hour of Code hopes to make history by involving 10 million students across the country. According to the organization’s website, over 5 million students have already learned an hour of code this week.

St. Anne’s-Belfield School’s goal is to have every student in Kindergarten through Grade 12 participate in some sort of coding activity for an hour this week. Programs to be used include Kodable ProBeeBotTynkerCargo-BotBlockly, and LightBot.
