Pre-School Hat Parade

In celebration of the letter “H” during the month of October, 40 Pre-School students wore their favorite hats to the Learning Village for Hat Day and the annual Hat Parade. Throughout the month in the Pre-School, hat-related books are read and songs are sung. According to the Pre-School faculty, class puppets Happy Hippo and Happy Hen also enjoy Hat Day and the parade.

During the walk through the Learning Village, older students gathered in classroom doors to view the hats, with many sharing memories from their own Hat Day in years past.

“Hat Day is has been celebrated in the Pre-School for almost two decades,” said Miss Dolly. “The children love seeing their siblings at the Learning Village and Hat Day alumni enjoy their fond memories of their Hat Day!”
